The design of an X1/9 tank enables any moisture to lay against the bottom panel of the tank, quickly causing rust and pin-holes.
This is a reconditioned fuel tank for carbureted Fiat X1/9s from 74-80. No sending unit is included.
Condition: RECONDITIONED
This tank is in great shape, freshly reconditioned. We start with a good tank absent of any rust holes, and apply a four-step, epoxy-based sealing system inside and outside of the tank to ensure against future leaks.
The inside of the tank is devarnished, etched, and the interior coated with epoxy-based sealant. Finally, the outside is also coated with epoxy sealant, ensuring years of trouble-free operation.
