This is a high quality Italian maker cylinder head locating dowel applicable to all 1100, 1300 and 1500 SOHC FIAT engines, with 12mm head bolts/studs as fitted to Fiat X1/9s, 128, Strada, and Yugo through 1980.
Approx. 10mm height.
Note: Fiat SOHC engines from 1981-on with 10mm head bolts have deeper recesses in the engine block and were supplied with a 12-13mm high dowel, PN 4440099.
Two required per SOHC engine.
Critical to locating the cylinder head correctly.
If not installed or worn dowels are re-used, the head gasket will fail prematurely.
