An Italian maker laminate thermostat housing side gasket for SOHC engines for FIAT X1/9, 128 and Strada cars production fitted with carburetor and North America EGR-style pollution control cylinder heads from 1977-80.
This thick, metal-reinforced gasket is required to block a critical port in the cylinder head from coolant in the thermostat housing.
Located between cylinder head and t-stat housing.
1971-76 carbureted SOHC engines and later 1980-on fuel injected SOHC engines use 4198159 gasket.
