This is a set of "Bob Boig-style" body panels and matching air dam for any model year Fiat or Bertone X1/9. A Midwest-Bayless exclusive!
Made of double-thick fiberglass, includes two front fenders, two rear fenders and a front valence to convert the body of your X1/9 to the Boig-style. Be sure to check out the multiple pictures!
This kit can be attached with quarter-turn (Dzus) fasteners for racing applications.
Not recommended for show level street applications, due to slight variances in contours on some pieces.
Width of flares allows maximum SCCA Road Racing track of 56.3" (front) and 56.6" in the rear with 9.5" cantilever slick tires still concealed by the edge of the flare, using a 13x6 wheel with 80mm of backspacing. Yes, you will have to cut your existing fender arches away in order to fit wider-than-stock wheels to fill these flares out.
Air dam accepts a Series 1 (1973-78) stock-style grille.
