This is a pair of new camber adjustment plates for Fiat and Bertone X1/9, Lancia Scorpion/Montecarlo and Fiat 128 cars.
These are a small footprint, direct fit replacement of the original rubber mounts on Series 1 (1973-78) Fiat X1/9s and Lancia Scorpion/Montecarlo. No cutting of the shock towers required!
Mounted under the shock tower like an original rubber mount, the studs pass through the factory mounting holes in the body and can be articulated within the original shock tower hole.
Please note: The mounting studs are M8 in diameter and do require enlargement of the original body holes.
To install in a Fiat 128, or to achieve camber adjustment without affecting caster, you will need to drill alternate mounting holes to ensure that adjustment travel is aligned with axle center line
Also, the opening in the top of the body panel must be notched to allow access to the adjustment bolts if this is a requirement.
For use on 1979-on Fiat and Bertone X1/9s, reliefs will need to be cut into the shock tower dome to allow access to adjustment bolts. (See photos)
All billet aluminum construction with a 5/8" ID spherical bearing insert.
If your struts have smaller diameter upper shafts (9/16"), a set of shouldered adapter sleeves are provided.
Bottom plate can be mounted in two directions, allowing additional articulation outward if needed.
Please Note:
Proper fitment of the camber plate to a strut shaft may require modification to existing upper strut shaft components and/or additional items; depending on your specific application, spring type (stock or coil-over), intended use, strut type, or strut manufacturer.
Those modified components are not included.
These plates are Not recommended for use with Fiat X1/9 1980-88 style rear struts; including KYB GR2 rear replacement struts.
