This is a high-quality KYB nitrogen gas-charged replacement strut for the front of all model years Fiat or Bertone X1/9s.
Commonly referred to as the "GR-2" strut. KYB has phased out production of silver GR-2 struts in favor of a black "Excel G" unit, with identical internal and external specifications.
Also a common replacement solution for Lancia Scorpion cars. When mounting on a Scorpion/Montecarlo, notching of the lower carrier mounting hole to adjust camber, and/or a 15mm wheel spacer is required to clearance the spring perch from the tire sidewall.
