This is a right front carrier / upright for 1973-75 Fiat X1/9s. These carriers are known as "slender arm" carriers because they are case-hardened and use a thin trailing arm to connect to the tie rod end. Uses 1300-style front wheel bearings and hubs but is dimensionally identical and interchangeable across all model year X1/9s from 74-88.
When restoring an early car, it is nice to have the exact style carriers it came from the factory with. Good for racing applications as they weigh almost 2 lbs less per side than later versions.
Condition: Freshly Rebuilt
This unit has been professionally rebuilt and includes new bearing, beadblasted carrier assembly, beadblasted hub (inspected for cracks), dust rings and seals, beadblasted and inspected (uncracked) hub nut washer, and new hub nut. Item has been painted with epoxy-based gloss-black paint, with clean paint and rust-free taper bushes.
