This is a high quality metal screen-style pre-pump filter for all Fiat and Lancia cars with fuel injection.
This unit is compact and allows fitment between the tank and the pump. It features 12mm inlet and outlets, similar to stock Fiat / Lancia supply hose size.
Unlike other economy solutions with a paper element that will quickly clog in a fuel injection application, this filter uses a metal internal screen as shown. Allows the longest possible service life with minimal flow restriction.
A pre-pump filter ensures that crud and particles from older tanks do not enter and damage the high-pressure fuel pump. Useful in cases where the FI fuel tank has been reconditioned and the internal filter sock has been removed or punctured.
