This is a F/I/A/T Factory OE steering wheel hub boss as fitted to 1979-85 Fiat and Pininfarina 124 Spider.
This unit has a 6-bolt pattern identical to Momo steering wheels, and has the correct geometry to be used as an adapter for earlier 124 Spider and Coupe, 1973 and later.
This unit is 50mm high, the correct OEM thickness for a dished F/I/A/T steering wheel.
Notice that most aftermarket adapters are an additional 25-50mm (1-2") thicker than factory, awkwardly moving a typical dished steering wheel uncomfortably close to the driver.
Not compatible with 1968-72 cars due to a different turn signal switch cancelling mechanism.
Includes horn contact ring and turn signal cancelling pin on backside.
Simple application on Fiat and Bertone X1/9, just loosen and slide the turn signal switch assembly about 3/8" outward on the steering column in order for the horn and turn signal cancelling pin to make contact.
Also applicable to other models (Fiat 128, Ritmo, Lancia Scorpion / Montecarlo)
