Starter DOHC Bosch - Short Body (Pininfarina 124 Spider 1983-85 + All Fiat 124, 131) - REMAN

A Factory OE late-style (short body) Bosch starter as fitted to 1983-85 Fiat (Pininfarina) 124 Spider with DOHC 2.0L engines.

Perfectly interchangable to replace the early-style (long body) Marelli starter that came on 1968-82 Fiat 124 Spider, Coupe, 131, Lancia Scorpion and Lancia Beta vehicles except for 79-on Lancia Beta.

Please note that for Lancia applications, the locating dowel for the center bolt is not used.

Short and compact later style OE starter is easier to maneuver during installation. Light weight too! Weighs just 11lbs compared to 18lbs for the old-style long-body starter.
