This is a new steering box gear assembly, with pitman arm for all Fiat and Pininfarina 124 cars from 1973-on.
Notice the divided, splined input shaft.
(Earlier cars use a shaft with a flat surface)
Most vendors sell new boxes with an incorrect pitman arm that must be removed, or no arm at all. They advise that you transfer the arm from your old box. This is not a simple task! It is difficult for the most accomplished mechanics or service centers to perform.
