For Fiat and Pininfarina 124 cars, the original heater valves with a capillary tube are no long produced, and haven’t been for almost 25 years. This type of valve here was deemed by FIAT as the official replacement.
If your car has the original valve in place, you’ll need to put a slight bend in the short pipe of about 5 or 10 degrees to keep it pointed in the correct direction out the firewall opening.
